T&B Co. was born out of care—for dogs, for beauty, for people, and for the little things that make life feel joyful and meaningful.

The name comes from our two French Bulldogs, Teddy and Bear Bear, who aren’t just pets—they’re family. They’ve brought joy, comfort, and laughter to our home every day, even during life’s hardest seasons. Like so many dog lovers, I wanted to give them the very best.

But when it came to collars and harnesses, I couldn’t find anything that truly fit their unique bodies—or met what I wanted for quality. If a collar was long enough for their necks, it was also too wide and bulky, with oversized buckles that pressed into their delicate airways. Harnesses had the same issues: too tight in one spot, too long in another, and often sitting too high on the throat instead of distributing pressure safely across the chest.

I also wanted something more beautiful than what I saw in stores. Our dogs don’t wear much—just a few essentials—so I wanted those pieces to be special: soft, strong, elegant, and made to last. After a few scary experiences—like a metal harness ring snapping and a leash breaking in half mid-walk —I realized just how important quality really is. I didn’t want to settle for “cute but flimsy.” I wanted to feel confident in what they were wearing.

With that in mind—and a background in art —I started designing something better. My search for craftsmanship and high-quality materials led me over 5,000 miles to Florence, Italy, where I collaborated with some fellow dog lovers - now our friends - who were producing their own designs for dogs.  They had relationships with master leather artisans around Florence.  Artisans who produce some of the world’s top luxury brands.  They handcraft in small batches  using premium Italian leather that softens and ages beautifully - because these aren’t just cute accessories.  They’re meant to last.

I developed our signature Bully Fit, designed specifically for flat-faced breeds like French Bulldogs, with proportions and materials made for their comfort and safety. And after many requests, I added our Classic Fit—the same quality & thoughtful design, but made to fit standard body type dogs.
